The Integrated Marketing (IM)
Coordinator in the Office of Public Affairs handles the accounting
responsibilities for the IM team which includes writers, designers and a
photography lab that serves the University campus and also provides
administrative support for the department’s executive director.
The hours for this position are Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
with one hour for lunch. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
is required. Bachelors' degree is strongly preferred.
A minimum of two
years' work experience is required, preferably in accounting
or bookkeeping role.
Some experience providing administrative assistance
to a person in an executive role in a professional office
environment is desired. Experience with budget management,
creation and/or reconciliation is preferred.
Experience with accounts payable is required.
CPA accreditation is
a plus.
Candidate must
demonstrate strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills
in order
to effectively interact with staff, vendors, student workers, accounting office,
financial office and campus-wide clientele.
Must also demonstrate the ability
to communicate effectively in writing.
A strong customer service orientation is essential.
Candidate must
demonstrate strong problem-solving skills with the ability to be resourceful,
proactive and seek assistance as needed. Must
also demonstrate strong organizational and task management skills. A strong
focus on attention to accuracy and detail is essential.
Candidate must demonstrate a
strong proficiency with MS Word, Excel, spelling and grammar, and attention to
detail.
Experience with FileMaker Pro is
highly desired. Experience working in Outlook calendar preferred. Experience
with PeopleSoft Financials and/or Power Point is a plus.
