Bellavance's daughter Dr. Angela Maria Bellavance
and Dr. Andrew Warren Askew were married on May 5th
at the White Chapel Estates in North Richland Hills. They
both have PhD degrees in Particle (High Energy) Physics from
Rice University where they met and they both work at the
Fermi National Physics Laboratory in Batavia, Illinois.
After a short week of vacation driving West to the Grand
Canyon, Las Vegas, etc. they have now returned to their town

Fermi Lab in January and didn't have enough vacation to
enjoy a longer honeymoon at this time. Andrew works under

Introducing Greg Dawson, Evening and Weekend Circulation Supervisor, Hamon Library: Professional/Educational background: I earned a Bachelor of Arts from Austin College in Sherman, Texas in May of 2005 with majors in Business Administration and History. While in school I held many horrible retail sales positions finally escaping in the summer of 2004 to intern at The Red River Historical Museum in Sherman. Before joining the Hamon Arts Library in February, I had been working as a Music Manager for Barnes & Noble. Hobbies and interests: My two main joys in life are reading and playing golf. Books are much less expensive than green fees, so I end up reading a lot more than playing golf. Interesting facts about you: My first job was at a local barbeque restaurant, Baker’s Ribs. It was one of the best jobs I ever had. While I was at work, I could eat anything I wanted. I worked there for over two years and never got tired of barbeque. Also, I have this weird thing where my belt has to match my shoes. ALWAYS. Book or website you would like to recommend: A Year in Provence by Peter Mayle - Great light reading about life in southern France through the eyes of a Brit. This one really got me interested in travel writings and travel in general. More recently I have picked up Nickel and Dimed: On (Not) Getting By in America by Barbara Ehrenreich. A must read for anyone who makes more than $7 an hour. *** Introducing Cindy Gautreaux, Public Services Administrative Assistant: Professional/Educational background: BS, Public Administration, University of Texas at Dallas For the past four years I have worked as co-owner/office manager, etc. for a small, home-based business, Iron Nouveaux. Prior experience includes insurance, hospital administration and various non-profit organizations. Hobbies and interests: My husband and I participate in art shows in Texas and parts of the southeast. We’ve met many interesting artists throughout the years and enjoy offering our home to those who are visiting Dallas. It’s no B & B, but for starving artists, it beats sleeping in the back of a van! I also enjoy gardening, home improvement projects, and volunteer activities with church and high school theatre. Interesting facts about you: My first attempt at parasailing was in a cow pasture in northeast Mississippi. The parasail was my brother’s newest toy and since there was no water around, he decided that an Isuzu sedan would work almost as well as a boat. I survived, somehow, but prefer “sailing” over water. Book or website you would like to recommend: Sad, but true: Debtproofliving.com – formerly: Everydaycheapskate.com – I’m hooked on her “tip” section
