Screening Room

Norwick Center for Digital Services

Purpose:

The primary function of the Screening Room is to provide faculty a venue to screen programs outside of normal classroom hours. Other functions like presentation practice, library or student meetings, and videoconferences are also supported. Contact nCDS if you have any questions about room policy.

    • VHS and DVD players (both NTSC and PAL)
    • one iMac computer
    • one laptop vga input

Scheduling Instructions:

  1. Request a screening time (or other room usage) by sending an e-mail to FLE109B@smu.edu.
  2. If you are viewing a title from the Media Library, the media must be reserved by contacting the circulation department or using this form.
  3. nCDS staff will pick up the media from the circulation desk, start the program and return the media from the circulation desk upon the completion of the program, if requested.
