Browsing Forward is semiannual newsletter focusing on news and
events related to all Central University Libraries. The latest
issue is always available in electronic format.
Quarter Notes is a quarterly newsletter detailing news about
staff, circulation, special events, and recent acquisitions of
the various collections housed in the Hamon Arts Library. The
latest issue is always available in electronic format.
The Online Resources Newsletter provides highlights of current,
new, and trial subscriptions to electronic resources. The newsletter
is published twice a year by the Electronic Resources Team of Central
University Libraries.
In conjunction with the Clements Center for Southwest Studies at
SMU, the DeGolyer Library publishes the Library of Texas series, which
reprints selected classics of Texas history. DeGolyer Library is also
the home of the Book Club of Texas, founded originally by Stanley Marcus
in 1929.
Hamon Arts Library is home to the Bywaters Special Collections. The
major collections include the Jerry Bywaters Collection on Art of the
Southwest, the McCord/Renshaw Collection on the Performing Arts, the
Greer Garson Collection, and the Paul Van Katwijk Collection.
