Reference Services

Reference staff members assist users in selecting, identifying, locating, and using print and electronic information sources. Staff members also provide mediated online searching, teach classes in research methods, and are available for individual consultations. If the library does hold the information needed, reference staff can identify locations where the information is available.

The Fondren Library Center Reference Desk is staffed according to the following schedule:

Monday	10am – 9pm	8am – 9pm
Tuesday	10am – 9pm	8am – 9pm
Wednesday	10am – 9pm	8am – 9pm
Thursday	10am – 9pm	8am – 9pm
Friday	10am – 5pm	8am – 1pm
Saturday	12pm - 6pm	9am - 12pm & 6pm – 9pm
Sunday	12pm - 6pm	9am - 12pm & 6pm – 9pm

Holidays, May Term, Summer Semesters I & II, and University Intersession (between semesters): hours vary. Please call the Reference Desk at 214-768-2326 for specific details.
