LOCAL 9xx fields ON THE BIBLIOGRAPHIC RECORD
9xx fields are not part of the USMARC format. OCLC defines them for LC, for local processing, and for OCLC-MARC record delivery services. Refer to the OCLC Bibliographic Formats and Standards manual, field 9xx, for a complete lsting of 9xx fields. The following is a list of 9xx fields defined for use by SMU Libraries.
