SMU Access to SciFinder
- Who can use SciFinder:
- SciFinder is restricted to SMU students, faculty, and
staff. Unlike most of our other electronic resources, there
is no walk-in access available for visitors on any library
computer.
- About SciFinder:
- SciFinder is the most comprehensive database for the
chemical literature, indexing journal articles and patent
records, chemical substances and reactions. It is a core
research tool for chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering,
materials science, nanotechnology, physics, environmental
science and other science and engineering disciplines.
As of Fall 2010, all SMU users will need to use the web version. We no longer have access to the SciFinder Client version.
For 1st Time Users:

of a username/password. You'll need to login with this information
each time you use SciFinder Web. If you had a SciFinder account
