This site is designed to provide a means of communication to the users of SMU Financials.
New Account Request
If you have a student or employee that needs access to SMU Financials,
go to http://help.smu.edu and select
the appropriate new user account request form from the menu on the left.
Useful Downloads
SMU Financials functions best using Internet Explorer 6 and Adobe
Acrobat Reader 5. The ITS HelpDesk has a download page available
to download these two programs. Please use the following to get
the most current versions of each:

Q Drive/Query Hint
If you access Q drive reports or run Queries in SMU
Financials, the following information will be useful. By default,
Internet Explorer will open Excel spreadsheets in the same window.
It is very helpful to make the spreadsheets open inside of Excel when
launched from Internet Explorer.
Click on your operating system for instructions:

Note About Using SMU Financials
When navigating inside of SMU Financials, remember that it is purely
internet base. DO NOT double click when navigating. Navigate
inside of SMU Financials with single clicks only. Double-clicking
causes the requested action to be submitted twice which can slow things
down.
