The SMU Service House (SMUSH) is a unique, coed residence hall for 28 undergraduate and graduate students who share the goal of fostering cooperative activity, community responsibility, and social action. In 2006-2007, students living in SMUSH contributed 1685 hours of community service in various activities, such as mentoring and creating after-school activities for school age children.
