You can use SafeAssign through any of your Blackboard courses whether or not the course is active or in use. Academic Computing has created a course for faculty and staff who do not have instructor access to a Blackboard course. Contact ACS through the Help Request form. Our staff will give you access that will allow you to submit papers.
There are two ways to submit documents to SafeAssign - Safe Assignment
and Direct Submit. Click the panels below to find out how to use SafeAssign
in your class or research.
SafeAssign promises a 24 hour turn around. We have experienced faster times. We have experienced faster times. In our test, most grant proposal submission of less than 30 pages have returned in 3 to 4 hours. The time it will take to analyze a document depends on its length and complexity.
SafeAssign will accept the following file formats: .zip, .doc, .txt, .pdf, .rtf and .html. A .zip file can only contain one or more of the other formats. SafeAssign does not yet accept the new Office 2007 .docx files.
Please print the two page PDF file displayed below in the Scribd iPaper viewer. The second page will explain how to interpret the results of your submission. For more detailed information see the Instructors Manual in the Content Collection and SafeAssign Wiki.
