 I've got courses showing I don't want.
How can I get rid of them.

You can’t remove yourself from a course. Only the faculty member who owns the course can do that. You can however hide the offending course.

In the My Blackboard tab click the little circle pencil icon icon in the corner of the My Courses box. You will be able to hide the courses you no longer want to see.

You can also change the content and layout of your My Blackboard screen with the two control buttons in the top right of that screen.

Reason:
This is the responsibility of the faculty. When you are removed from a course all records associated with you in that course are deleted. For that reason it is Academic Computing's policy never to remove a student from a course. We cannot know if an instructor has completely finished with their data or made an archive of the course.

We do ask faculty to make their courses unavailable at the end of each term. Some do not.
