How can I copy content from one
The new integration of Blackboard and Access.SMU creates and populates course shells for all courses and sections being taught during the current term. Academic Computing strongly advises you to move your current course materials into the new course shells.
Below are the steps in Blackboard to copy your materials from one course to another.
Copying Course Materials via the Bb Course Copy Tool:
Go to the previous term's course that contains your course materials.
• Don't check the Enrollment or all of last term's students will be copied into the new course.
• To copy deployed tests, you must select the appropriate Content Area, Grade Center Items and Settings, as well as Tests, Surveys and Pools
• To copy assignments, you must select the appropriate Content Area, as well as Grade Center Items and Settings.Click Submit to proceed and wait for the process to complete.
NOTE: The steps above may create duplicate menu items. You can remove the duplicates. To remove any unneeded items click the » pull down menu next to menu item and delete it.
You can also copy a single item from one Blackboard course to another.
