Credentials
Every Campus Minister is appointed and credentialed through the Office of the
Chaplain and Religious Life and entitled to the privileges specificed by University
Police Number SA-00-002 of the University Policy
Manual.
Mandatory Meetings
Campus Ministry Council meets monthly on the first Tuesday, 2:00-3:00pm
at the Neuhoff Catholic Student Center.
These meetings are required of all credentialed professional campus ministers.
Two or more absences of any recognized group will result in loss of CMC membership.
Risk Management Compliance
All organizations participating in activity on campus will be required by Texas
State Law SB1138 to complete Risk Management Training. These training sessions
are to be attended by four organizational officers and advisor. An advisor is
defined by law as anyone who leads and guides an organization and is not a student
at SMU. For members of CMC, this means a credentialed professional minister
plus four officers. For student-led communities the requirement will be the
advisor of the group (staff/faculty) plus four officers or members. Failure
to do so will result in termination of privilege to exist on campus.
TIPS Training
Every professional campus minister is required to take the TIPS - Training for
Intervention Procedures program and the 'Because I Care' module offered by the
Health Center's department of Drug and Alcohol Abuve Prevention. Sign

Parking
If you have a vehicle on campus, you must have a parking permit. Campus ministers
