Voices of Inspiration Gospel Choir is a student-run, student-led organization that became an officially chartered ministry at SMU in 1987. Our purpose is to spread the gospel and love of Jesus Christ through song and community service as well as be a source of encouragement and inspiration to its members in the development of their total educational and spiritual experience. Over the years, we have fulfilled that purpose by participating in SMU’s Celebration of Lights, University Worship services, Family Weekend Talent Show, Association of Black Students’ campus events and more. Voices has also performed in numerous musical and church events in the Dallas area. Our organization is here to give back to others and be an example of the good that can be done when you lead by what God tells you. If you have any other questions, feel free to contact any member of the Executive Board.
