K-Life

Working within the Park Cities community, K-Life seeks to build positive and Godly relationships in teens that can withstand the negative peer pressure so prevalent in today's culture. Our  lifeblood is small groups, which are supported by more visible components of our ministry - weekly club meetings, events, and retreats.

Through the development and training of college-aged students, K-Life employs a strategy that results in discipleship relationships with junior high and senior high kids actively involved in small groups. The youth of today look to older peers for guidance, responsibility, and leadership, and this is where SMU students play a huge role.

K-Life aims to share the hope of Jesus with the SMU community by exposing them to an authentic community of Christ-followers and the resources that only a diverse group of people can provide. K-Life desires to be a ministry for students that helps them build a community both on and off campus unlike any other, and possibly even the opportunity to work at one of the Kanakuk Kamps in the summer!
