Purpose:
The purpose of Eta Sig is to establish a sisterhood among women at SMU who seek to nourish their bond with the Lord Jesus Christ. Eta Sig was not founded as a church, but as a non-denominational organization where Christian women could come together to pray for one another and encourage one another to shine their daily lights on campus.

Founding Scripture:
“Not that we are sufficient to claim anything for ourselves, but our sufficiency comes from God.” -2 Corinthians 3:5
