Chi Alpha is a community of students who are on a journey in their faith with Jesus and committed to showing real love to people. We invite you to join us as we pursue Jesus Christ together. There are many opportunities to get involved including Thursday Night Worship, small groups, conferences, mission opportunities and more. Retreats are held in the Fall and Spring as well as an annual leadership conference in the Winter called SALT where Chi Alpha students from universities all over the Southwest come to be equipped in fulfilling Christ's great commission on their campuses. In addition, there are several different mission trips to choose from during the Summer as well as a number of opportunities for leadership training, bible study and discipleship throughout the year. Chi Alpha has an ongoing ministry to the international student population as well as a welcome fair, international dinners, discussion groups, free furniture days, airport pickups, tea times and more. Chi Alpha is affiliated with the Assemblies of God but functions interdenominationally (all are welcome regardless of church background).
Weekly worship is held on Thursdays at 8:00 pm in the Varsity of the Hughes Trigg Student Center.
