Scheduling Interviews: MustangTRAK

Our on-campus recruiting program is managed with MustangTRAK. Employers have control of their job descriptions, may select students for interviewing, view resumes, and see future or past recruiting schedules all online. View the online guide for MustangTRAK by logging in to the system.

Reservations

Reservations are granted on a first-come, first-served basis. Contact us to schedule your visit to campus. Once you have scheduled a date, you submit your requests through the online system that will allow you to specify details of the position(s), and your organization's requirements. This information will be made available to students via our home page.

You will receive 3 emails before your visit on campus.

  1. An email will confirm your reservation with information on when your schedule is viewable to students. Your first task is to copy your job into the system and "attach" it to the reservation made for you.

  2. A 2nd email will come to you when the deadline for the students' resumes arrives, and will provide you instructions for downloading resumes and pre-selecting students online.
  3. A 3rd email reminds you that the final schedule is available with instructions, and provides you directions for how to get to campus with a link to our campus map.

At any time throughout the process, companies are encouraged to email students whose resumes have been received. Again, you can do it through MustangTRAK. It is a great way to let the students learn more about your company, for you to create a presence on campus, and to generate interest in your company with that personal touch.

Facilities

5 private interview rooms in the Career Center as well as 1 conference room (available ONLY upon request) and classrooms for information sessions.

Schedules

20, 30, 45, or 60 minute schedules are available. We can work with you to accommodate alternative interview times between the hours of 8:30am and 5pm.

  • Preselect Schedules
Companies select the students to interview on MustangTRAK. You have 5 days to review the resumes and notify selected students. We recommend that you chose three to five alternates, since some of the selected students may not interview. If you would like unfilled slots to be "open" to unselected students, please let us know.

  • Open Schedules
The blank schedules are entered for you by the Career Center through arrangement with the Recruiting Coordinator. You can watch your schedule fill up on MustangTRAK while having access to the resumes. Your final schedule is available to you 1 day before your campus visit.

Citizenship Requirements (as listed in MustangTRAK)

  • No Visa Sponsorship Required: an individual born in the United States or a naturalized citizen. Only companies with government contracts and security clearance requirements may make this selection.
  • Visa Sponsorship Required: an individual who does not meet the above requirements.

Resumes

Student resumes are available through the MustangTRAK system. If your company requires additional information such as cover letters, transcripts, applications, or writing samples, please specify this information when reserving your interview schedule. Company applications should be forwarded to the Recruiting Office well in advance of the resume deadline date. We do not have the capability to provide transcripts electronically, only Degree Progress Reports (DPRs). If you require an official transcript, please request on MustangTRAK that students bring their transcript to the interview, or we suggest that you request them during your second round of interviews.
