SMU students are of unique talent and caliber. In order to reach the most qualified candidates for your employment needs, we highly encourage employers to be open-minded when considering qualified majors. Outside of specific fields (i.e. accounting, engineering etc.), skills-based recruiting is often most effective in reaching the largest pool of qualified candidates, more so than recruiting by major. Therefore, please consider choosing “All Majors” when selecting criteria in MustangTRAK. Many SMU students double major and/or complete relevant coursework and gain practical experience. Don’t miss out on the perfect applicant by restricting majors.
Each university organizes majors differently. Please explore each SMU school below.
