Lisa Tran, M.Ed., serves as an Assistant Director of Employer Relations focusing on connecting with employers with internship opportunities for students. In addition, she provides students with job and internship search strategies, resume and cover letter writing guidance, and interviewing skills through one-on-one career counseling and workshops. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Southern Methodist University and a Master of Education in Higher Education Student Affairs from the University of North Texas. Upon graduating from SMU, Lisa worked in the corporate sector for JCPenney and Neiman Marcus before transitioning into higher education. Prior to joining SMU, she spent 3 years in Boston, Massachusetts working for Harvard Business School.
