Position Summary of a Consultant:
-Works as a team member in delivery providing consulting
services to clients that support our solution offerings
in Enterprise Applications (Oracle, SAP, Lawson,
Microsoft), Business Intelligence
-Work is usually performed at the client site but can
also be performed at an office location.
-Operates under close supervision on defined
assignments.
Responsibilities:
Works on projects of all sizes to provide functional
and/or technical expertise to support and meet the
project objectives. Participates in delivering our
solutions offerings to clients. Works on internal
initiatives. Activities may include:
•Research, analysis, documentation, facilitation,
problem solving and delivering on assigned tasks within
scope
•Interface with client’s personnel; •Internal
initiatives/activities; ?Practice development support;
?Knowledge Management; ?Internal projects; ?Training
Education and Experience
•Bachelor’s degree in a Business discipline,
Computer Science, Management Information Systems,
Engineering or related discipline required.
•Prior experience in a functional or technical area
that supports a solution or industry offering is a plus.
Skills
•Good communication skills (written, interpersonal,
presentation and facilitation abilities)
•Analysis, research and problem solving skills
•Self directed, systematic thinker, ability to
multi-task
•Aptitude to learn quickly
Technology Applications
•Proficient in Microsoft Office and other development
tools, database or applications as appropriate
Work Environment and Physical Demands
•General office and client site environment
•Travel will be required to meet the client’s needs
