Position Descriptions
The Mortgage Servicing Associate is an entry-level management training position designed to develop future leaders of Wingspan. This role allows the Associate to work within various components of the mortgage servicing process to assist borrower's in preventing foreclosure. The Mortgage Servicing Associate will have the opportunity to work in different growth areas of our Professional Services group which may include, but is not limited to, such roles as Modification Processor, Customer Advocate, and Borrower’s Outreach Specialist within an accelerated fast-track timeframe. Mortgage Servicing Associates will also receive professional/career development and leadership training by participating in our on-site university, Wingspan U, as well as gain exposure to executive leadership.

• Monitor assigned queues and following up accordingly with borrowers
• Review all open workout plans with borrowers, evaluating missing documents and reaching out to borrowers to obtain complete financial packages
• Track and compile important transaction documentation
• Respond to escalated borrower complaints by telephone and through written response
• Resolve borrower complaints by determining the cause of the issue, selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem, expediting the correction or adjustment and following up to ensure resolution
• Research borrower accounts utilizing various customer systems
• Document all conversations into Wingspan’s system of record as well as successfully navigating the servicing system

 

Wingspan is in the business of ensuring the flow of data, from a single trusted source, to the business leaders that make the decisions. The Information Management Analyst will participate in our Information Technology and Business Intelligence Program, which is an entry-level rotational training program designed to build a broad technical foundation and develop future leaders of Wingspan. As an Information Management Analyst, you will experience three 4-month assignments in IT (Network and Help Desk), Business Analysis and Business Intelligence. In this program, you will be exposed to:

• Gathering and writing business, information and reporting requirements
• Leverage existing BI tools and exploring new tools
• Network and information security
• Database design
• Report development

Information Management Analysts will also receive professional/career development and leadership training by participating in our on-site university, Wingspan U, as well as gain exposure to executive leadership.

At the end of the final rotation, placement may be made into an ongoing project or new project that best suits the business need and your personal objectives and career development plan.

KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS

For this position the following qualifications include:

• BS degree in Management Information Systems, Decision Science, Statistics, or Math
• Academic excellence, achieving a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
• Participation in campus and student organizational activities and programs
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated leadership skills
• Self-starter, with strong initiative
• High level of reliability and responsibility
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
• Familiar with use of a Business Intelligence tool such SAS, Microstrategy, Tableau and SQL knowledge is a plus
• Knowledge of network, switches, virtual desktop (VSphere)
