Engineering

Quality Engineering –
• With the quality of our products being of the utmost importance, the position of Quality Engineer provides a great opportunity for a detail orientated candidate. Problem solving, the development of effective systems, utilization of statistics, and risk assessment are just some of the skills that are used in these roles.
Manufacturing Engineering –
• Manufacturing Engineering roles give the candidate an opportunity to make an immediate impact on the production of our world class products. Engineers in this role are responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives, problem solving, and influencing cross functional teams.
Test Engineering –
• Test Engineers will design, develop, implement, and validate test methods of testing and troubleshooting products (in order to catch failures, ensure the quality of the product). A Test Engineer will support identification of customer/user needs through benchmarking, session based testing and user experience evaluation.
Product Development –
• R&D Engineers work on the front lines developing and creating our next generation of products. Engineers in these roles are directly involved in multiple facets of the product development process. Everything from prototype creation, testing and verification, and product launch is covered within these roles.

Human Resources
• The focus of employees in this role will be to assist the HR representatives with day-to-day responsibilities that are crucial to our operations. People in this role will be required to engage with employees at various levels of the organization and prove themselves to be a valuable resource to anyone that has HR related questions or issues. Some of the responsibilities include presentations on current projects, employee processing, planning employee events and training, and developing an understanding of different departments.

Recruiting/Candidate Care –
• A Recruiter or Candidate Care employee will operate as part of our world class candidate care team. They will work with recruiters to facilitate sourcing, interviewing, and ultimately bringing diverse talent to the Stryker team. Some of the responsibilities include scheduling on-site interviews, making travel arrangements, greeting candidates as they arrive for their interview, sourcing, and inputting data within our applicant tracking system.
University Relations -
• An employee in this role will be responsible for supporting the University Relations team through database management, marketing, social media, and event planning. This work is very important in attracting top talent to Stryker. The ability to communicate effectively, network, and b ring creative ideas are essential in this role.


Marketing Associates will have an exciting opportunity to complete projects for various teams within the marketing department. This experience will give you a well rounded experience as well as the opportunity to have a direct impact on our business. The responsibilities will revolve around medical education, marketing/operations, brand management, and portfolio management.

Some of the Supply Chain opportunities are as follows:

Supply Chain
• At the heart of these roles is the scheduling, management, and monitoring of production and supplies to meet customer requirements. Employees that are placed within these roles will obtain materials and components that are essential to our business while paying special attention to the needs of our customers. Developing records, managing inventory levels, negotiating, and supplier management are just some of the responsibilities.
Buyer–
• The primary focus of the buyer is to procure materials needed to fulfill production requirements. An employee in this role will assist in this by managing our lean initiatives, maintaining our purchase order system, driving supplier improvement, and consulting with people at our facilities. In addition, you will learn valuable communication skills as well as get practical knowledge in a fast paced environment.

Finance/Accounting-
• Maintains the company’s cost accounting system; makes recommendations for improvement as needed
• Provides cost estimation for new and existing products and participates in cost reduction initiatives
• Prepares and analyzes specific accounting statements and reports to assist in the preparation of financial statements, and other internal and external reports as required
• Coordinates with other departments to achieve cost planning targets
• Assists in development and transmissions of operating plan and strategic plan
• Analyzes monthly operating performance and profit projections for reporting and developing action items
• Develops overhead and labor standards
• Participates in monthly and yearly closing processes including journal entry preparation
• Assists with the development and maintenance of annual budgets
