Stevens Transport incorporates a multi-modal nature of advanced Logistical solutions, Operations Management and the power of Supply Chain enterprise to provide outstanding service with a full range of temperature-controlled transportation levels. Founded as a family-owned and operated business in 1980, Stevens educates its own drivers, internal staff and you, the Manager in Training, on how to oversee and monitor inventory from inception to distribution while developing relationships with our key customers.

Stevens Transport offers current university students and recent graduates the opportunity to play a vital role in supporting our network operations and to grow into a management position. Our Management In Training program provides you with a foundation that will introduce you to international market opportunities within an operational framework where you will be able to utilize current skills and experiences while developing new and necessary skills to assist your growth and career development.

MITs receive cross-functional, departmental training over the course of 12-18 months and are mentored by various division managers. Our hope is to fully prepare you for an upper management position by the time you have completed your training. You have the potential to gain exposure across a variety of entry level and higher level positions as you build a portfolio of Management experience with Stevens. Some of the departments that you will be exposed to include, but are not limited to:

Accounting, Owner Operator Division, Sales, Information Technology, Law, Marketing, Human Resources, Logistics Solutions, Brokerage, Compliance, Driver / Fleet Management, Operations, Driver Education, Customer Service and Dispatch.

The profile of a Stevens Transport management trainee includes (but is not limited to) a recent college graduate who:

•Has a quality scholastic record

•Has served in a leadership role in his/her school or community

•Has previous internship experience

•Values diversity

•Has excellent oral and written communications skills
