As a Financial Advisor, you will play a key role in helping clients develop financial strategies to improve the quality of life and plan for the future. From financing a child’s education to designing a retirement plan, a career in financial services gives you the opportunity to realize your professional aspirations and make a genuine difference in the lives of the people you serve.

A select few of the responsibilities, marketing, and sales activities that you will be keenly involved in and focus on during the early years of building your career with Spectrum Financial Group are, but are not limited, to the following:
•Develop your "natural market"
•Identify one or more target markets
•Develop Market Development and General Marketing Plans
•Complete a rigorous multi-year training curriculum
•Prospect, Network and Seek Referrals
•Schedule and keep appointments
•Complete Fact Finders - gather important information about a prospects finances and goals
•Open Cases and develop solutions
•Close Business
•Provide superior customer service
•Build lasting long term relationships
•Follow the proven and prescribed approach, routines, and business practices until such time as consistent success is achieved and experience and know how are clearly established
•Maintain effective and detailed records of prospecting, networking, and sales activity including personal information about prospects and clients
•Make solo sales calls as well as joint calls with Sales Managers and a wide variety of Joint Work and Product Specialists

Candidates possessing an entrepreneurial spirit and seeking to build something for themselves, but not by themselves will relish the Spectrum Opportunity

Requirements:
•College Degree Preferred - Accounting and Finance course work and or degree are NOT a requirement

•Familiarity with the Dallas Community is important and therefore an established network in the Dallas area provides a significant advantage

•US Citizenship or Permanent Resident Status is a requirement

•A third party background check is a requirement and includes full review and disclosure of academic, financial, and criminal records

•In order to receive and share in commissions and fees an individual must be properly licensed. Therefore, Financial Advisors, during their first six to twelve months, must secure the necessary Licenses: State of Texas Life and Health Insurance; 2 Securities Licenses the Series 7 and the Series 66
