2011 Spring Semester Internship

closely with staff, seniors and managers?

Rothstein Kass is looking for students to join our firm as an Intern in our
Financial Services Audit Department during the 2011 Spring Semester.
The interns will be exposed to various aspects of an audit engagement as
well as some initial tax preparation. Working very closely with Staff,
Seniors and Managers, the interns will get a true picture of what it is like
to work in a public accounting firm. We are a world-class firm with diverse
clients. Our internship program was developed to provide you with real
experience and real skills. We can help you bridge the gap between what
you’re learning in school and what you’ll encounter in the working world. If
you are looking to gain real experience in a fast-paced, friendly
environment, this may be the place for you.
Details:
•Runs January-March
•Paid hourly rate plus overtime
•Internships Available in: Roseland, New York, Beverly Hills, San Francisco,
Walnut Creek, Dallas, and Denver
Education:
•Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting
Requirements:
•Accounting Major
•College Junior or pursuing your Master’s degree
Responsibilities:
• Audit Related Tasks
•Engagement letters
•Bank, Broker, Legal and Administrator Confirmation Requests
•Capital Confirmation Requests
•Roll forward work papers from prior period
•Roll forward Financial Statements and update changes on Financial
Statements
• Tax Work
•K-1 Preparation
