Position Descriptions
At Regions, we realize the key to continued success lies in developing
strong leadership. To ensure the challenges of our future are met, we've
developed the Management Associate Program. This is a comprehensive program to
nurture future leaders of tomorrow. Individuals with strong business acumen,
excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to customer service are prime
candidates for this program.
The Management Associate Program is unique as it allows associates to learn
about the entire banking operation before entering a specific division. The
Management Associate Program is broken into two Phases. In Phase I, the
Management Associates will learn about the bank's core divisions with both
classroom training and hands-on experience in each department. Professional
development, team-building exercises, and community service projects are a part
of the program. Management Associates also benefit from invaluable exposure and
guidance from Regions’ senior management. Upon completion of Phase I, Management
Associates will receive division-specific training during Phase II before they
are placed in their position. Phase I and II will take place in Birmingham,

Division specific placements are pre-selected prior to the program start date

Company Profile
Birmingham is the Southeast's largest banking center outside of Charlotte,
N.C., and ranks among the nation's top 10 cities in total banking assets. The
state’s largest bank, Regions, is headquartered in Birmingham, and following the
merger with AmSouth, Birmingham will be home to one of the nation’s top 10
banks.
Regions Financial Corporation traces its roots back to the late 19th century and
three Alabama-based banks - the First National Bank of Huntsville, the First
National Bank of Montgomery and the Exchange Security Bank of Birmingham.
Those three banks served their communities well, acquired smaller institutions,
out-smarted ruthless outlaws and remained in business through the Great
Depression. The First National Bank of Montgomery boasts that it did not miss a
dividend during the depression – a distinction earned by only a few banks in the
country.
