Position Descriptions
Engineering - Electrical
Researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment,
systems, and networks. Ensures desired reliability is properly specified,
allocated and predicted. Designs electrical equipment, facilities,
components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic
purposes. Designers require expertise in analog, digital, high-frequency
circuit design or avionics design. Possible opportunities would include (but
would not be limited to) designing computer systems, develop new software
for microwave and millimeter wave components and systems, designing advanced
ground and satellite communication systems, air traffic control systems, air
defense systems, developing advanced software or designing digital
circuitry.
Engineering - Software
Conducts or participates in multidisciplinary research and collaborates with
systems engineers, equipment designers and/or hardware engineers to design,
develop, and test, software, and/or embedded system software. Must be
proficient in two or more software development languages (preferably C++,
Java and C). Able to use various software tools on HP or SUN workstations in
typical software development environments. Fundamental understanding of
basic software principals, theories and concepts related to software
engineering (including software development lifecycle and software
development process) and Object Oriented analysis, design and programming.
Software Engineering-Application Development
Design, code, test and integrate software to satisfy software development
requirements. In a team environment, assist in problem definition, solution
alternatives and software design and test. Develop and maintain appropriate
software documentation. Perform software and systems requirements analysis
and modifications. Proficient in two or more software development languages
(preferably C++, Java and C). Able to use various software tools on HR or
SUN workstations in a UNIX environment. Fundamental understanding of basic
software principles, theories and concepts related to software engineering
(including software development lifecycle and software development process)
and Object oriented analysis, design and programming.
The Financial Leadership Development Program (FLDP) is a
highly visible program designed to bring talented undergraduates into the
finance organization and develop them into future leaders at Raytheon. FLDP
participants will gain experience within the Finance Organization through
four six-month assignments over a two-year period. Rotations can include
Financial Planning & Analysis, Rates & Budgets, Cash Management,
Program/Contract Business Management, Accounting, Internal Audit, Benefits
Analysis, Internal Controls, and Pricing/Proposal Development.

Upon completion of the two-year rotation period, Financial Leadership
