Company Profile
American, AMR Eagle, and the AmericanConnections® airlines serve 250 cities in 40 countries with, on average, more than 3,400 daily flights. The combined network fleet numbers approximately 900 aircraft. American Airlines is also a founding member of the global oneworld® Alliance, which enables member airlines to offer its customers more services and benefits than any member airline can provide individually. These services include a broader route network, opportunities to earn and redeem frequent flyer miles across the combined oneworld network and more airport lounges. Together, oneworld members serve nearly 700 destinations in over 150 countries, with 8,500 daily departures. American is also one of the largest scheduled air freight carriers in the world, providing a wide range of freight and mail services to shippers throughout its system onboard American's passenger fleet.

The diversity of our people reflects the diversity of the more than 270,000 customers we serve each day around the globe. We know that a company is only as good as its people and that a workforce with varied backgrounds makes us a better airline. In each of our employees, we expect and reward self-motivation, a will to serve others, integrity and a dedication to excellence. We believe that the things that make each of us different help us better serve our global customer base, and we strive to promote diversity in every aspect of our business.

AA employees receive a competitive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life, disability, flexible spending accounts, and a matching 401K. In addition, employees and dependants enjoy travel privileges to domestic and international destinations.
