Allegro seeks to hire an Energy Software Consultant. As an Energy Software Consultant, you will work as a team member or as an individual consultant on a product implementation with our customers in the energy industry.

Challenges of the position include:
 Works as a member of a team on product implementation enhancement, and/or integration projects for clients to convert, configure, validate, and support on site, as needed.
 Design and develop interfaces between Allegro and existing business systems.
 Provide training on the application.
 Business process research, presentation and communication of project objectives and recommended solutions.
 Perform issue resolution, analysis and trouble shooting.
 Participate in the extension, design, and validation of test cases.
 Continuously review user documentation & process documentation and improve software expertise.
 Communication with support, quality assurance and development; issue entry and tracking, help desk communication.

Qualifications for consideration:
 Bachelors degree in Business, Management Information Systems, Computer Science/Engineering or closely related field
 12 months experience or completion of college-level coursework related to database administration and design, SQL, and/or Crystal Report writing.
 An enthusiastic self-starter with proven problem solving skills.
 Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
 Excellent oral and written communication skills.
 Dynamic presentation skills and the ability to train others.
 Extensive knowledge of Windows 2000/ XP,MS Windows products, Crystal Reports, and SQL.
 Extensive travel
 Energy Industry Knowledge Desirable
