  • Resumania: Students meet one-on-one with employers, who provide valuable feedback on your resume to use in your job and/or internship search.

 

HOW TO CONNECT

1-2:30 PM
  • Job Search Prep for International Students: This workshop is designed specifically for SMU international students to help them navigate the job search process.
2-3:50 PM
  • Linkedin Photo Booth: Need a professional photo for your LinkedIn profile? Stop by to have your picture taken, register for LinkedIn, and learn how LinkedIn can help you in your job search. Dress professionally and we will see you there!
4 - 5 PM
  • How to Succeed at the Career & Internship Fair: Learn valuable tips on how to maximize your time at the upcoming Career & Internship Fair and leave a memorable impression on employers.

WHAT TO SAY

4 - 7 PM
  • Speed Networking: RSVP required Practice your professional networking skills with professional volunteers from various industries in this fun and informal setting! A reception with all employers will follow. You are REQUIRED to be present at this event the ENTIRE TIME!

Teach for America Preparation Workshop

Have you been selected for a TFA interview? This workshop is geared towards students interviewing this semester for TFA, but all students interested in applying in the future are welcome to attend. Topics that will be covered in the 1-hour interactive workshop include:
• Anticipated interview questions
• How to prepare for the 5 minute “Teaching Presentation”
• Interview “Do’s” and “Don’ts”
