Constructed in 2000. The stadium was designed in the Collegiate-Georgian style that is consistent with the rest of SMU's architecture. There are 32,000 seats, and the stadium has the possibility of expansion to 45,000 by converting the stadium's horse shoe shape into an oval. There are 240 preferred club level seats and 240 more seats in 23 luxury suites, loaded with extras such as televisions, air conditioning, and refrigerators. Also housed in the three-level press box is a working press area that can accommodate 125 working print, radio and television media.
