Webpay

This is a secure site through which you can make Credit Card (MasterCard, Discover Card and American Express) and Electronic Check (eCheck) payments to your SMU accounts. Please have your Credit Card or Check Information ready.

eCheck Payments  
Requirements for non-checking accounts: For SAVINGS account routing numbers, contact your financial institution. Deposit slips may not include the correct routing number. Not all payments from brokerage/investment accounts can be made online. Please check with your account representative. Checks written from credit card accounts, commonly called convenience or credit advance checks, may not allow electronic transactions. Contact your financial institution to determine whether ACH transactions are allowed.

Students

Begin processing by logging on to Access.SMU. Click on SA Self Service/Learner Services/Finance then under Account Summary click on “View Bill - Make a Payment -  My SF eSpace-Bills-Payments-Refunds-Invite Other Payer”

Guest Payers (Parents & Others)

Begin processing by clicking on Check or Credit Card. Enter the students SMU ID number (8 digit number), the students last name will be displayed, make sure this is the correct student. Guest Payer enter your first and last name. Enter the requested information to make a payment to your student account.

Other Payer

If your student has sent you an "Invite Other Payer" invitation and you have created an account and password, you may make a payment on your students account by clicking on OtherPayer. Student, Click here for instructions to Invite Other Payer. When students invite Other Payer, the invited payer will receive an email, from their student, which will contain an Activation Number and a url to be used to create a Other Payer. The invited payer will need their student SMU ID number (8 digit number) to create their account.


Note:
Credit card (Master Card, Discover Card and American Express) payments will be processed through Sallie Mae Business Office Solutions. If you choose this option, a "service charge fee" will be added for each transaction.  The "service charge fee" is 2.65% and is subject to change with a 30 day notice.
