When you complete or change your course registration each term, the Division of Enrollment Services will send you a notice regarding your charges to your SMU email account. The charges will represent the cost of the hours in which you have enrolled, room and board (if applicable), and selected Campus Essential Services. Students whose accounts are not cleared by the payment deadline each term are charged a late payment fee of $150 for balances between $1,000-$7,500. Balances over $7,500 are charged 2% of the outstanding balance not to exceed $500. After one month, all past due balances are charged 1.5% of the balance due.
