Welcome to SMU eRefunds A new Refund option has been added this Fall Sallie Mae Debit MasterCard® Refunds SMU has added another refund option to return money from your student account that is in excess of charges. The new refund option is a Sallie Mae Debit MasterCard®. This is in addition to refunds by check or ACH-Direct Deposit. To sign up for a Debit Card refund login to Access.SMU, click Student Service, Campus Finances, Account Summary and My SF eSpace. Select Refund Disbursement tab, in Refund Disbursement Options section select Debit Card. Enter all of the request information and save the page. A Sallie Mae Debit MasterCard® will be mailed to your mailing or home address, be sure they are up to date. If you select Debit Card as your refund option, future refund amounts will be added to your debit card automatically, unless you change your refund option. Your current refund option, check or ACH (direct deposit) will remain in effect unless you select this new option.
