Octavo. pages, 6⅝ x 4¼ inches. Roman. Bound in remounted red morocco binding with gold stamps of the royal arms; spine gilt; 3 ties retained. § DMH 316, with metrical Whole Book of Psalms by Sternhold and Hopkins (1612); STC (2nd ed.) 2222. § CD-ROM: 9.4, fol. N3v (detail), "she".
The Ryrie Collection has another 1612 octavo which differs considerably from DMH 315, with the reading in Ruth 3:15 of "she." The text was apparently set from the folio 1613/11 edition which was produced in 1611, but delayed for publication until 1613, the date that appears on the title page. Thus, it was possible for a Bible bearing the date 1612 to have been set from the text of a 1613 edition.
