Deanie Kepler, Parent Liason

An SMU graduate of 1970, Deanie Kepler can answer just about any question you have about SMU or Dallas. And if she doesn’t know, she’ll find out. Deanie has been known to deliver chicken soup to sick students or drive them to the airport in a pinch. She works closely with the Mothers’ and Dads’ Clubs to assist their primary goal of ensuring students’ success.

Lisa Webb, Associate Vice President for Student Affairs and Dean of Students

Lisa Webb oversees the offices of Student Conduct & Community Standards, Services for Students with Disabilities and Parent and Family Programs. She works in partnership with students, their parents and the University to help students reach their academic and personal goals.


Christi Contreras, Director of Parent Giving

With a goal of building supportive relationships between SMU and its parent community, Christi Contreras works closely with the Parent Leadership Council and plays an integral role in fundraising for students’ benefit. She oversees the University’s parent giving initiatives and is happy to answer questions about SMU and its giving programs.
