Seven-time Cy Young Winning Pitcher Roger Clemens to speak at Guaranty Bank SMU Athletic Forum Luncheon

DALLAS, TEXAS -

The Guaranty Bank SMU Athletic Forum welcomes Roger Clemens to Dallas on Thursday, November 2.

The AT&T and Cingular Luncheon, will take place in the Khmer Pavilion of The Hilton Anatole at noon. Media availability begins at 10:30 a.m. in the Jade Room of The Anatole.

In September 2006, Roger Clemens completed his 23 rd season as a major league pitcher. Clemens’ career began with the Boston Red Sox and includes stints with the Toronto Blue Jays, New York Yankees and the Houston Astros. “The Rocket” has won an unprecedented seven Cy Young Awards, two more than any other pitcher. He has recorded 348 wins, eighth all-time, and 4,604 strikeouts, second all-time behind Nolan Ryan. Clemens is the only player ever to pitch two, 20-strikeout games. Clemens won two World Series championships while playing for the New York Yankees.
