The SMU CORES (Community Research & Service) Initiative sponsors research-centered, community-based projects that advance scientific knowledge while serving our SMU neighbors and community. Based in the SMU Department of Anthropology, the CORES Initiative trains, supervises, and helps fund student research at the graduate and undergraduate levels.
