SMU welcomed more than 175 attendees at the recent Golden Mustangs Reunion, April 15, 2011. The experience was filled with opportunities to reconnect and celebrate. This year, Golden Mustangs Day was be held on the centennial of SMU's founding. As a result of this momentous occasion, SMU planned several special activities surrounding this historic date to enhance the celebration.

Morning activities were designed especially for Golden Mustangs. Many attendees then joined the greater University alumni community at a Centennial celebration at the Flagpole followed by an afternoon of lectures and classes from SMU's esteemed faculty and staff.  They finished the day with a briefing by SMU President, R. Gerald Turner.
