On-campus Recruitment Events
Often, a campus visit is the “clincher” or final factor that convinces a student to enroll at SMU. Our current students have made comments such as, “When I saw the campus, I knew this was where I wanted to go,” and “I was trying to decide between SMU and a couple of other schools, but after visiting them all, I knew right away I felt more at home here.”
Student Recruitment Volunteers (SeRVe representatives) are needed at on-campus events to talk with students and parents and welcome them to the Hilltop. Volunteers will be asked to host tables and in some cases sit on a panel to answer questions about your SMU experience.
SMU offers several Mustang Monday campus visitation days, open to all interested students and parents. Along with a tour of the campus and lunch with faculty, the agenda includes topics such as financial aid, student life and academic programs. Some of the University’s top administrators give presentations and answer questions.
