As long as you’re here, visit the city! Downtown is just 10 minutes from campus by car or nearby light rail. Visit a museum or take in a concert in the Arts District, the largest urban cultural district in the nation. Edgier Deep Ellum is home to galleries, night clubs, coffeehouses and unique restaurants. If you prefer sports, the Dallas Stars and Dallas Mavericks both play their home games at American Airlines Center in Victory Park, just a few minutes from campus. And when it comes to shopping, Dallas can offer everything from Neiman Marcus to independent boutiques.
