B-Scholars, a 'Shattered' Success & the Holiday Rush
Happy Holidays from the Cox School
of Business! Our wish for you is a year filled with student successes,
perfect matches, and happy endings.
Business Scholars Program Update
Invitations for the Business
Scholars Program (representing admission to the Cox School of Business as a
first-year student), will be mailed by the end of December, about two weeks
after early action decision letters are sent. Students who applied to SMU
in early action and who indicated business as their first academic interest
are automatically considered for the Business Scholars Program. There will
be two rounds of selection and invitation for this program, one in late
December (early admits), and one in early March (for regular applicants as
well as a second look at early admits who were not selected in December).
Information on the Business Scholars Program is available on the web at:

How did they think of that?
Do you ever wonder how
a trend begins? SMU Cox alumnus Kevin Hall (BBA 73) can provide an
interesting insight on one current trend – the window decals that make it
look like a baseball, golf ball, or hockey puck has shattered the window.
You’ve seen these stickers on many SUVs around town; now you can read
Kevin’s story as the inventor and founder of Shatter Sports TM online at
www.cox.smu.edu/aboutcox/pressroom/success.
