Abbi Pfister was born and raised in York, PA but went to high school in Richmond, VA. She decided to attend Lynchburg College, a small liberal arts college in central Virginia and earned her Bachelors of Science in Health Promotion.  Through her student involvement at Lynchburg she decided to pursue a Master of Education in Higher Education and Student Affairs at Virginia Tech, which she earned in 2005. She has been working in higher education since 2003 and specifically admissions for the past 2 years. She decided to relocate to Dallas because of the weather and all the different options that the city has to offer.
