Amy Kice was born in Weatherford, Oklahoma where she spent all of her time until high school graduation. After completing a B.A. in Spanish and a M.A. in Human Resources from the University of Oklahoma, Amy worked at her alma mater in admissions and recruiting for 4 years. This fall will mark her 5th anniversary recruiting at SMU!

Amy works with all students regardless of their passport that are completing their high school outside the U.S. In addition to writing bios like this one, Amy spends her free time hanging out with her dogs Henry and George, jogging in Dallas' refreshing summer evenings, reading novels and cooking food she can't otherwise afford.

ADVICE: Learn to ask questions for yourself and enjoy the process! This should be an exciting and fun experience. Make sure that you take at least one semester and study abroad.
