Kellen
Correia
grew up in Edmond, Oklahoma and attended Edmond Santa Fe High
School. She graduated from Texas Christian University with a
Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and a minor in
Communications. While a student at TCU, Kellen worked in the
admission office as an intern. She loves working in a
university setting and aspires to one day become the president of an
university. Kellen’s joy comes from working with prospective
students and families through the college process.
Why
SMU?
At SMU the average class size is 25. This small class size
provides the opportunity for students to have real one-on-one time
with their professors. The professors are available inside and
outside of class. They want to get to know their students, and
they really want to see them succeed at SMU. The professors
create a welcoming environment for the students.
College Search Tip:
Before you start to visit college campuses, make a list of
everything that you would like to see on a college campus. Then
prioritize the list from the most important to the least
important. When you start your campus visits, you can weigh the
college against your prepared list and find the college that best fits you. Good Luck and
Happy Hunting!
