Join a community of scholars
A select group of SMU’s most academically promising undergraduates are invited to join the University Honors Program. This program offers students a deeper level of challenge with enhanced curricula, smaller class sizes, and further opportunities for intellectual enrichment in general education coursework.

The University Honors Program fosters a dynamic learning environment among honors students outside of class as well. In addition to the option of living in the honors residence hall, the honors program offers more interaction with peers and faculty through field trips, social gatherings, and other special events.
