  • Awarded on the basis of financial need and demonstrated by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and CSS/PROFILE as part of an aid “package” after self-help and other gift aid are determined
  • Must be enrolled in at least 12 hours each term to receive
  • This award is limited to 4 years, 8 semesters or graduation whichever comes first.

  • Determined by the U.S. Department of Education based on an analysis of student’s completed Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) given only to the most needy students

TEG - Tuition Equalization Grant

  • Amount varies: ranges up to $3518 to $5277 in 2010-2011, number varies depending on allocation to SMU

Eligibility

  • Must demonstrate financial need on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and meet the state residency rules of the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board

FSEOG - Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant
